Spring Haiga

Spring is an uncertain thing in southern Alberta. It rarely arrives before the spring equinox, although it can. The first forays are tentative, and usually followed by the more severe storms we have in our winter. One day there can be daffodils. Two days later knee high snow. The wisdom I was raised on was do not count on spring really having settled in until after May 24. This makes it hard to decide what kigo to use to express spring in a haiga. It is the gentle flower or the raging storm?

I've added three spring haiga. The first,
spring dreams captures that uncertainty.
